Nicosia: The Republic of Cyprus has unequivocally condemned the Houthi attacks against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the legitimate Yemeni Government, describing the targeting of civilian and economic facilities in the cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran, as well as the resulting injuries, as unacceptable.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Cyprus's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Cyprus expresses its full solidarity with the affected countries and their peoples and emphasizes the importance of respecting freedom of navigation and international law, in accordance with the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
