Customs Authority at King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah Foils Attempt to Smuggle ‘Shabu’ Substance

The Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority at the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah foiled an attempt to smuggle 68 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine (shabu) infused into fabrics.

The authority said that the fabrics infused with “shabu” substance were found in a parcel shipped into the Kingdom via express mail service.

In coordination with the General Directorate of Narcotics Control, the authority said that the recipient of the parcel has been arrested.
