Moroni: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance launched the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Iftar program in Comoros on Monday at the Al-Sayyid Salem Khamis Mosque in the presence of several officials.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Saudi Ambassador to the Union of the Comoros Mohammed Al-Shamrani said the implementation of the iftar program, alongside the dates gift initiative, reflects the Kingdom leadership's dedication to serving Islam and Muslims worldwide and strengthening bonds of solidarity among Muslim communities.
He added that such initiatives demonstrate Saudi Arabia's care for Muslims abroad and its commitment to sharing the joy of the blessed month, praying that these efforts be recorded in the leadership's good deeds and that the Kingdom continues to enjoy security and stability.
The program is expected to benefit around 10,000 fasting worshippers as part of the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to support Muslims around the world during Ramadan.
