Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Gift Programs for Distributing Dates and Iftar Launched in Kosovo

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call, and Guidance launched the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Gift Programs for Distributing Dates and Iftar for Ramadan 1444 AH at the headquarters of the Islamic Sheikhdom in the Republic of Kosovo.

The program is distributing 5 tons of dates, benefiting approximately 30,000 Muslims.

The inauguration of the program was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Albania Faisal bin Ghazi Hefzi, Grand Mufti and head of the Islamic Sheikhdom in the Republic of Kosovo Naim Ternava, as well as Sheikhdom officials and Islamic and media figures.

Ambassador Hefzi lauded the distinguished seasonal programs, saying they reflect Saudi Arabia’s commitment to addressing the needs of Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan and alleviating the burden of those in need. In addition, they highlight the strong bonds between the two countries as well as Saudi Arabia’s perpetual generosity to people around the world.

The Grand Mufti expressed his appreciation for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for their ongoing, honorable positions towards Kosovo’s Muslims, stressing that Saudi Arabia has stood by the people of Kosovo and helped the country overcome its difficulties.

Ternava noted that Saudi Arabia continues to be generous towards Kosovo, hailing the role the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince play to serve Muslims in Kosovo and all over the world.
