Riyadh: The Riyadh International Book Fair 2025, organized by the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission, concluded last night at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University after 10 days of cultural and intellectual activities.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the fair featured over 2,000 local and international publishers from more than 25 countries, serving as a key platform for cultural exchange. Uzbekistan was the guest of honor, showcasing its literary heritage and arts through a dedicated pavilion.
Visitors enjoyed over 200 events, including seminars, lectures, and workshops, with participation from prominent authors and intellectuals. The Theater and Performing Arts Commission presented theatrical shows and collaborated with an Uzbek troupe for joint performances, along with local arts displays.
The exhibition included various zones reinforcing its status as a comprehensive forum for knowledge and creativity, notably the expanded business zone, which featured over 30 leading entities and hosted more than 45 events to empower the publishing industry and strengthen partnerships locally and internationally.
