Riyadh: The Ministry of Culture announced a collaborative initiative with Google Arts and Culture to launch an official page for Historic Jeddah, one of Saudi Arabia's UNESCO World Heritage sites during the Cultural Investment Conference held at the King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative features an official page for Historic Jeddah on Google Arts and Culture, showcasing over 30 stories about the city's rich history. It offers immersive virtual tours of key historic sites, including the Beit Jokhdar Hotel, Nasseef House, Tariq Abdul Hakim Museum, and Al-Shafi'i Mosque.
Through this page, the ministry aims to elevate the global profile of Saudi heritage and historical archaeological sites, sharing the Kingdom's rich history with the international community.
