Culture Ministry Launches ‘Cultural Innovation Challenge’ to Design Cultural Policies with Local and International Expertise

Riyadh: Under the patronage of Minister of Culture Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan, the Ministry of Culture initiated the 'Cultural Innovation Challenge (POLICYTHON),' an interactive event designed to engage the broader cultural community in a policy design hackathon. This event features participation from national talents and international experts to support the growth of the cultural sector and promote comprehensive and sustainable development.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the 'Cultural Innovation Challenge' aims to enhance cultural policy design skills by involving leading creatives, talents, and cultural enthusiasts in a competition focused on developing solutions and policies. The challenge is open to innovators, entrepreneurs, academic researchers, public policy professionals, university students, cultural public, government employees, and other relevant groups.

The ministry has announced financial prizes exceeding SAR500,000 for the winners.
