Jazan: The Ministry of Culture has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Jazan Mountains Development Authority. The agreement was formalized with the ministry represented by Undersecretary for National Partnerships and Capacity Development, Noha bint Saeed Kattan, and the authority represented by CEO Eng. Dhafir Al-Fahad.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the MoU aims to foster sustainable cultural development in the Jazan Region. This will be achieved by preserving cultural heritage and revitalizing the local economy through the rehabilitation of heritage villages and buildings. The partnership also seeks to empower local communities, encouraging private sector investment to maintain the region's cultural identity.
