Culture Minister Attends Opening of Grand Egyptian Museum on Behalf of Saudi Leadership

Cairo: On behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Minister of Culture Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan and Minister of State and Cabinet Member for Shura Council Affairs Dr. Essam bin Saeed attended the opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) in Cairo, in the presence of President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the culture minister conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince to the Egyptian president, along with their best wishes to the government and people of Egypt for continued growth, progress, and prosperity.

The opening ceremony was also attended by Vice Minister of Culture Hamed Fayez; Assistant Minister of Culture Rakan Al-Touq; and Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Saleh Al-Husseini.
