Riyadh: As part of the Cultural Investment Conference organized by the Ministry of Culture in Riyadh, a panel discussion titled 'Who Funds Culture-and Who Gets Heard?' took place on Monday evening.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the panel discussion featured a panel of cultural leaders. Participants discussed topics, including the role of capital in supporting culture and the arts, the debate between the economic value of artistic work and its cultural and intrinsic value, as well as the challenges and opportunities faced by creators amid global shifts in funding patterns.

The Cultural Investment Conference underscores the central role of culture in Saudi Vision 2030 and highlights the Ministry of Culture's efforts to empower creative industries locally and globally, reflecting the Kingdom's commitment to strengthening culture as a key driver of sustainable development and intercultural exchange.
