Riyadh: The Cultural Ecosystem is participating in the seventh edition of the Saudi Cup 2026 for horse racing, set to be held at King Abdulaziz Racetrack in Janadriyah from February 13 to 14, with the aim of enhancing the presence of culture and Saudi identity at the world's richest horse race by presenting a rich cultural experience that reflects the depth of Saudi culture and highlights the Kingdom's longstanding equestrian heritage, in ongoing collaboration with the Jockey Club.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Cultural Ecosystem is offering a series of cultural programs that enrich the overall visitor experience through activities that blend authenticity with contemporary culture across three main zones: a cultural space, the Walk of Fame, and participation by the Culinary Arts Commission. Together, these elements form a distinctive harmony that showcases Saudi identity in a modern spirit aligned with the event's global stature. The Ministry of Culture has developed the creative direction of the participation inspired by footsteps on sand, which historically served as a means of reading movement and understanding it through traditional tracking, with the design combining deep-rooted heritage elements and a contemporary vision drawn from the racecourse environment.
The Cultural Ecosystem's participation in the Saudi Cup 2026 builds on its previous engagements and forms part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the presence of Saudi culture at international events hosted by the Kingdom, showcase the Saudi cultural scene to visitors, and empower Saudi designers to present their creations to a broad local and international audience, in line with the objectives of the National Culture Strategy under Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to make culture a way of life.
