Cultural Development Fund Wraps Up Role in Saudi International Handicrafts Week ‘Banan’

Riyadh: The Cultural Development Fund (CDF) has concluded its participation in the third edition of the Saudi International Handicrafts Week, known as 'Banan'. The event, organized by the Heritage Commission, took place from November 13 to 26. This participation reaffirms CDF's role as a key financial enabler in the cultural sector, continuing its efforts to develop the sector and enhance its economic and social impact.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the CDF's involvement highlighted its position as a center of excellence for financial empowerment within the Kingdom's cultural sector. This aligns with its ongoing mission to stimulate cultural entrepreneurship and support cultural enterprises. The aim is to strengthen the sector's economic and social impact, boost its contribution to the gross domestic product, improve the quality of life, and align with the targets of Saudi Vision 2030.
