Makkah: The Communications and Space Technology Commission (CST) continues its field operations in the Two Holy Mosques to ensure uninterrupted service quality, facilitate visitors' digital experiences, and uphold the Kingdom's commitment to serving Umrah performers.
According to Saudi Press Agency, CST teams began their duties in Makkah and Madinah ahead of Ramadan and remained stationed at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah. Their responsibilities include monitoring telecommunications service providers' sales outlets and evaluating network performance and coverage at every stage of a visitor's digital journey.
To maintain high service standards, CST employs mobile spectrum monitoring stations within the Two Holy Mosques to detect and analyze radio signals, identifying any unauthorized usage or interference that could impact wireless communication quality.
