Riyadh: The Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) concluded its participation in the LEAP25 conference, which took place from February 9 to 12. The event saw CST unveiling investments in communications and technology infrastructure amounting to SAR1 billion. Additionally, the commission launched the second edition of the space track and celebrated the graduation of the second batch of the experimental regulatory environment for emerging technologies.
According to Saudi Press Agency, CST Governor Dr. Mohammed Saud Al-Tamimi inaugurated the third day of the conference. During his address, he revealed that more than 25 investment agreements had been signed, which led to an increase in private-sector investments to $14.9 billion. He highlighted the ongoing announcements by companies to localize technologies in the Kingdom, focusing on investments in artificial-intelligence cloud centers, data centers, and enhancing customer services within the Kingdom and the broader region.
