Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Welcomes Eid al-Adha Well-Wishers at Mina Palace

Riyadh: On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received well-wishers at the Royal Court in Mina Palace on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. Attendees included Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif of Pakistan, members of the royal family, religious leaders, officials from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, ministers, military commanders, and leaders of the Scout family participating in Hajj.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the reception began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech by the Crown Prince. He extended greetings on behalf of King Salman, congratulating citizens, residents, and pilgrims on Eid al-Adha. He emphasized the Kingdom's commitment to serving the Two Holy Mosques and ensuring the comfort of pilgrims, highlighting the efforts of government sectors and volunteers in facilitating a safe and peaceful Hajj pilgrimage.

Lieutenant General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Bassami, Director General of Public Security and Chairman of the Hajj Security Committee, also addressed the gathering. He spoke about the Kingdom's investment in financial, human, and technical resources to serve pilgrims and praised the coordination among various sectors in implementing Hajj security plans. The plans, supported by advanced technology and surveillance systems, aim to ensure the safety and security of the pilgrims.

The event concluded with a poem recited by Colonel Mishaal bin Muhammas Al-Harthi, after which attendees had the opportunity to greet Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. A luncheon was held, attended by various dignitaries, including Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Prince Mishaal bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, and other members of the royal family and government officials.
