Crown Prince Meets Maldivian President to Discuss Cooperation Prospects

Riyadh: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, held a meeting today at the Royal Court in Mina Palace with His Excellency President Dr. Mohamed Muizz of the Republic of Maldives. The leaders exchanged Eid al-Adha greetings and explored aspects of relations and opportunities for cooperation between their countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting was attended by several high-ranking officials from both nations. From the Saudi side, participants included Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region; Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Sports; Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior; Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard; Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense; and Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Representing the Maldivian side were Dr. Abdulla Khalil, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Musa Zamir, Minister of Finance and Planning; Dr. Mohamed Shahim Ali Saeed, Minister of Islamic Affairs; Abdulla Rafi, Minister of Sports, Fitness and Recreation; and Mohamed Shahdi, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Chief of Protocol.
