Riyadh:His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, chaired a Cabinet session in Riyadh where he briefed members on recent communications with leaders from Russia, Qatar, Sudan, and the United Arab Emirates. Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations and addressing regional security and stability.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Cabinet reviewed Saudi Arabia's participation in the United Nations General Assembly's High-Level Week, praising the Kingdom's leadership in promoting international peace, dialogue, and humanitarian efforts. The Cabinet also highlighted Saudi Arabia's financial support for the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Center.
The session noted advancements in the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement, with steps being taken to enhance military cooperation between Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey. The Cabinet welcomed the United Nations Security Council's condemnation of Houthi attacks and emphasized the importance of free navigation in critical waterways.
Minister of Media Salman Al-Dossary stated that the Cabinet condemned Israeli actions against Al-Aqsa Mosque and reiterated Saudi Arabia's support for a two-state solution with an independent Palestinian state.
Domestically, the Cabinet commended the international recognition of Saudi Arabia's educational and training quality model, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030. Several decisions were made, including visa exemptions with Turkey, cultural cooperation with the U.S., health sector collaboration with Djibouti, anti-corruption efforts with Syria, and updates on prohibited goods within the Gulf Cooperation Council.
