Riyadh: The Sustainable Rural Agricultural Development Program (Saudi Reef), in collaboration with the Saudi Tourism Authority, has completed the preparation of an agricultural atlas aimed at enhancing agritourism in rural areas of the Kingdom. The initiative seeks to support rural development, increase tourism appeal, create job opportunities, and open new markets for local products.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the atlas serves as a key platform to promote farms and agritourism activities and to facilitate access for visitors, thereby contributing to the expansion of agritourism businesses across the Kingdom.
Saudi Reef Spokesperson Majed Al-Buraikan said that the atlas will be made available to users, including visitors, tourists, and specialized sectors. He added that work is underway to develop its digital infrastructure. The platform will feature an interactive map for agritourism enthusiasts to identify diverse operators, bringing them together in one place. It will also assist in streamlining facility development through a single government service window.
