Riyadh: Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha, accompanied by Vice Minister at Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and Communications, Space and Technology Commission acting Governor Haytham AlOhali, visited several technology companies in the Eastern Region, including Fathom.io and Takamul Technology, to review their business models and technological solutions and explore investment and growth opportunities in the digital economy.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Minister Alswaha reviewed the solutions offered by the two companies in the fields of the digital economy, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and the internet of things, highlighting their role in enhancing business efficiency and supporting the development of key sectors. The visit underscored the vitality of the technology ecosystem in the Eastern Region.
He affirmed that the Eastern Region is rich with promising opportunities in the digital economy, noting that empowering national technology companies and strengthening partnerships with them contribute to accelerating growth, attracting investments, and building a competitive digital ecosystem that supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
