Mecca: The General Commission for the Guardianship of Trust Funds for Minors and Their Counterparts is actively participating in the 1446 AH Hajj season operations. As a vital government entity serving pilgrims, the commission's responsibilities include receiving and safeguarding lost items. This encompasses items found within the Grand Mosque and pilgrims' belongings, as well as tangible and financial items at various entry points-land, air, and sea-and throughout the holy sites.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the commission collaborates with pertinent government and security agencies to manage lost items that cannot be returned to their owners. This is done by adhering to systematic procedures designed to ensure both procedural safety and compliance, thereby supporting the seamless experience of pilgrims during the Hajj season.
