Commerce Ministry Intensifies Inspection Tours of Commercial Establishments in Madinah Ahead of Ramadan

Madinah: Inspection teams of the Ministry of Commerce in Madinah Region continue to carry out intensive inspection tours of commercial establishments, warehouses, and storage facilities as part of a seasonal and proactive plan in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan, to ensure the availability of food and Ramadan commodities and monitor stock levels in a manner that guarantees market stability and meets consumer needs.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry's branch noted that the tours coincide with the start of the Umrah and visitation season and the arrival of Umrah performers to Madinah, in cooperation with relevant authorities. Inspection teams are monitoring the availability and safety of goods, verifying the compliance of commercial establishments and retail outlets with consumer protection regulations, applying regulations and instructions against violators, and working to create a commercial environment free of counterfeit and non-compliant products.

The ministry called on all consumers to report any violations through the reports center at (1900) or via the ministry's official website.
