Commerce Ministry Conducts over 28,000 Inspection Tours in August

Riyadh: The Ministry of Commerce conducted more than 28,000 inspection tours of commercial establishments and retail outlets across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in August 2026. The inspections covered supermarkets, gold and jewelry outlets, stationery and school supply stores, electrical and electronic appliance outlets, and other retail establishments.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the tours aimed to verify the availability of goods, products, and a variety of alternatives. They also sought to ensure that prices were clearly displayed, monitor commercial discounts, and verify establishments' compliance with the ministry's regulations.

The Ministry of Commerce continues its inspection efforts to enhance compliance, curb commercial violations, protect consumer rights, and increase market reliability.
