Commerce Minister Inaugurates Eisar Conference in Riyadh

Riyadh: Minister of Commerce Majid Al-Kassabi inaugurated the Eisar Conference 2025 today in Riyadh, bringing together a distinguished group of ministers, officials, and international experts.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in his opening address, Al-Kassabi highlighted that the conference unites global specialists in business continuity and restructuring at a time when the Kingdom is making significant progress in legislative and procedural reforms. These advancements position Saudi Arabia as a regional hub for debt resolution and financial restructuring solutions for economic entities.

He emphasized that hosting this conference in Riyadh reflects the Kingdom's strong commitment to sustaining economic activity and its active role in shaping innovative responses to financial distress.

The conference, which runs until October 14, features participation from prominent local and international organizations, including the World Bank, the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, and INSOL International. Key topics include the development of relevant legislation, effective business restructuring strategies, risk management mechanisms, and specialized discussions on responding to rapid economic shifts and potential financial crises.
