Riyadh: Saudi Post (SPL) has issued a SAR3 commemorative stamp honoring the Mohammed Al-Faihani Castle in Darin, located on Darin and Tarout Island in Qatif Governorate, Eastern Region. Restored by Mohammed Al-Faihani between 1884 and 1885, the palace spans approximately 8,863 square meters and is a key cultural landmark from the 19th century.

According to Saudi Press Agency, historically, the island was a vital seaport and commercial hub for trading pearls, musk, and perfumes in the Arabian Gulf. Saudi Post's commemorative stamps reflect significant national and international events, documenting milestones in Saudi history through unique designs, appealing to collectors and history enthusiasts alike.
