Cold Weather and Scattered Rain Expected Across Northern Parts of the Kingdom

Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has forecast cold to very cold weather with a chance of frost during the early morning hours in the northern parts of the Kingdom. Scattered rain and fog are expected to continue in parts of the highlands of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah, extending to parts of Riyadh and Eastern regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, dust-stirring winds will blow in parts of these regions, as well as the coastal areas of Tabuk and Madinah. Winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 21-42 km/h, with waves ranging from one to two meters, indicating relatively calm sea conditions.

In the Arabian Gulf, the winds will vary between northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 22-41 km/h in the northern and central parts, and easterly to northeasterly at speeds of 10-30 km/h in the southern part. Wave heights are expected to range from one to two meters in the Arabian Gulf, where the sea will also remain relatively calm.
