Riyadh: The Center of Digital Entrepreneurship (CODE), affiliated with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, organized an interactive workshop entitled 'Your AI, Your Rules' to raise digital awareness and empower entrepreneurs and enthusiasts to efficiently manage and utilize intelligent models, with a strong emphasis on data protection and operating within a secure, reliable cloud environment.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the workshop began with an overview of the most prominent generative AI tools currently available, along with practical guidance on how to interact with them effectively. Key concepts such as model customization and prompt engineering were discussed, in addition to showcasing advanced tools like LangChain and Flowise, which enable the creation of interactive chains with AI models to automate processes and build smart applications tailored to user needs.
A significant portion of the workshop focused on the technical opportunities of hosting AI models locally, highlighting the required resources such as storage capacity, memory, and GPU power. A comprehensive comparison of hosting options was also presented, ranging from managed API services to platforms such as Hugging Face and self-hosting via cloud providers like AWS and Azure, with an emphasis on the pros and cons of each in terms of performance, security, and cost.
The workshop concluded with real-world scenarios demonstrating how AI can be applied in call centers, including models that assist employees during calls, suggest appropriate offers for customers, summarize conversations, and detect potential issues-ultimately contributing to enhanced service efficiency and improved customer experience.
