Coastal Highway Boosts Development, Tourism in Jazan

The Roads General Authority says the Coastal Highway in Jazan region is a vital artery connecting various governorates within the region and contributing significantly to tourism, economic development, and social progress. The highway was constructed in phases, spanning a total length of approximately 112.5 km. Two overpasses were built along a 32 km stretch of the road. These infrastructure enhancements have played a crucial role in promoting economic development, boosting tourism, improving quality of life, and enhancing traffic safety in the areas served by the highway. Moreover, the Coastal Highway facilitates transportation between Jazan region and other parts of the Kingdom, reinforcing Jazan's position as a thriving economic and tourism destination that contributes to the realization of Saudi Vision 2030.
