Riyadh: The Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen has reported that the terrorist Houthi militia continues to launch attacks targeting Saudi Arabia's infrastructure, as stated by Major General Turki Al-Malki, the coalition's official spokesperson.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Major General Al-Malki highlighted that these persistent attacks underscore the extremist ideology of the Houthi militia. He reported that on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, the militia targeted the Saudi cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Jazan using ballistic missiles and drones.
Major General Al-Malki assured that the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition is prepared to respond appropriately to these assaults. The coalition aims to defend the Kingdom's sovereignty and protect both national and civilian assets. This response will adhere to the principle of self-defense under international law and Article 51 of the UN Charter, ensuring compliance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.
