Riyadh: The Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) has announced the addition of the new "Clanga" shipping service by MSC to Jubail Commercial Port, enhancing Saudi Arabia's competitiveness in investment and logistics services.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the new shipping service connects Jubail Commercial Port with King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam, Singapore Port, Shanghai Port in China, and Colombo Port in Sri Lanka, with a capacity of up to 6,000 standard containers.

This move reinforces the role of Jubail Commercial Port in enhancing the maritime transport sector and logistics services, supporting economic activities in the Eastern Region due to its proximity to production centers and its advanced facilities, which are capable of handling various types and sizes of vessels. It also strengthens maritime connectivity between Saudi Arabia and global ports.
