Riyadh: The General Directorate of Civil Defense has issued a warning urging people to exercise caution as thunderstorms are expected to persist in the Kingdom until Saturday. Residents are advised to steer clear of valleys that are prone to torrents and avoid swimming in these areas, while also adhering to instructions disseminated through the media. According to Saudi Press Agency, the directorate has forecasted that the Makkah region will experience light to medium rain showers, which may result in flash floods, hail, and winds that stir up dust. Furthermore, medium to heavy rainfall is anticipated in the Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, Aseer, and Jazan regions. The Eastern and Al-Baha regions are expected to receive light to medium rain showers, while light rain is forecasted for the Madinah, Qassim, and Najran regions.
