Civil Defense Strengthens Readiness with Siren Testing Across Several Regions

Riyadh: The General Directorate of Civil Defense conducted today a test of fixed sirens in Riyadh city and the governorates of Diriyah, Al-Kharj, and Al-Dilam, as well as in Tabuk and Makkah regions, including the governorates of Jeddah and Thuwal.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this test coincided with the launch of the National Early Warning Platform across all regions of the Kingdom, aimed at ensuring the efficiency and readiness of warning systems to broadcast audible alerts during emergencies.

This drill is part of the Civil Defense's ongoing efforts to enhance early warning systems and strengthen emergency response capabilities, ensuring rapid delivery of alerts to residents and improving public safety and risk prevention.
