Riyadh: Due to thunderstorms expected to affect several regions of the Kingdom from Sunday through Friday, the General Directorate of Civil Defense has urged the public to exercise caution, remain in safe areas, avoid flood-prone locations such as torrents and valleys, refrain from swimming in these areas, and follow official instructions issued through media outlets.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the directorate explained that Makkah Region will experience moderate to heavy rainfall, potentially resulting in torrential downpours, hail, and dust storms. Meanwhile, medium to heavy rainfall is anticipated in Riyadh Region, leading to torrential downpours, hail, and dust-stirring winds.
Additionally, Jazan, Aseer, Najran, and Al-Baha regions are expected to experience moderate to heavy rainfall. Light to moderate rain is expected in the Eastern Region.
