Singapore: The Kingdom, represented by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), participated today in the Changi Aviation Summit 2026 and the Singapore Airshow, held from February 1 to 3 in the Republic of Singapore, with a high-level delegation headed by Minister of Transport and Logistic Services and GACA Chairman of the Board of Directors Saleh Al-Jasser.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the delegation also includes GACA President Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, along with chief executive officers and experts in aviation, airports, and related service sectors, supporting the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to strengthen its presence at major international forums and shape the future of global aviation through the Air Connectivity Program.
The Kingdom's participation in the Changi Aviation Summit reflects its firm commitment to strengthening international cooperation and actively engaging in shaping the future of the civil aviation industry, as the summit provides a high-level strategic platform for decision-makers and sector leaders to exchange views on the major challenges and opportunities facing the industry amid rapidly evolving global changes.
This participation also highlights the Kingdom's advanced status and influential role as a key player in shaping global aviation trends, as GACA, through its presence, seeks to keep pace with the latest technical and regulatory developments and to promote safety, security, and operational efficiency in line with the highest international standards.
During the event, the GACA president, along with vice presidents, visited the Singapore Airshow 2026, one of the most prominent global platforms for showcasing advanced technologies, where they reviewed the latest innovations in the aviation and aerospace industry, best practices in manufacturing, operations, and support services, as well as future solutions to boost sector efficiency and enhance competitiveness.
The tour reflects the ecosystem's commitment to improving direct communication with major international companies and entities and to exploring opportunities for cooperation and strategic partnerships that support knowledge transfer and the localization of modern technologies, contributing to the development of the Kingdom's civil aviation ecosystem.
