China’s Vice Minister of Culture and Tourism, Rao Quan, has received Fahd Hamidaddin, CEO of and board member of the Saudi Tourism Authority, with the attendance of Saudi Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al-Harbi.
The meeting focused on bilateral cooperation and ways to enhance strategic partnerships in tourism, as well as the need to unify vision and efforts through relevant international organizations.
In addition, the two officials discussed the outcomes of the visit of President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom in December 2022. They also agreed on the general terms of a memorandum of understanding to facilitate attracting Chinese tourists to the Kingdom.
