Shanghai: The Center for Research and Intercommunication Knowledge participated in the Fifth China-Arab States Forum on Reform and Development, held in Shanghai. The forum, themed 'Implementing Global Development Initiatives and Promoting China-Arab Cooperation towards a New Direction,' aimed to foster the exchange of expertise between China and Arab countries.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Director of the Cultural Studies Unit at the center, Abdulrahman Marshood, emphasized the critical role of cultural environments in the success of development projects. He noted that development should extend beyond mere contracts and agreements, highlighting the importance of the cultural dimension in fostering innovation and creativity. 'Culture serves as an incubator for innovation and a source of inspiration,' he stated.
Marshood also pointed out the significance of the Saudi-Chinese Cultural Year as a platform for cooperation and creative projects between the two nations. He mentioned that this initiative has opened new avenues for integration through knowledge exchange. Additionally, he underscored the importance of Saudi-Chinese relations, describing them as among the most dynamic partnerships globally, driven by the Saudi Vision 2030, which promotes cultural and economic diversification and investment in non-oil sectors.
