Camel owners and participants at the Najran Camel Auction Festival have praised the event, currently held in Najran, for showcasing and promoting the symbol of authenticity reflecting Saudi identity and cultural heritage. Camel owners and enthusiasts at the festival, which is drawing a large number of visitors from within and outside the Najran region, told the Saudi Press Agency that the event is highly important for the people of the region to introduce their culture. Festival supervisor Misfer Al-Yami said that the festival features informative exhibits from veterinary clinics and government agencies providing services to visitors, in addition to a variety of activities including poetry evenings and a camel rally race. Ali Soman, a camel owner, said that the festival provides a platform for showcasing a wide variety of camel breeds. He expressed appreciation to the organizing committee for efficiently managing the event, even with the large number of visitors.
