Dammam: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, presided over the Cabinet session held today, December 02, 2025, in Dammam, where the state's general budget for the fiscal year 1447/1448 AH (2026 AD) was approved.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Cabinet examined the components of the state's general budget for the fiscal year 1447/1448 AH (2026 AD) and issued a decision regarding it. The decision includes the approval of state general expenditures amounting to SAR1,312,800,000,000 and the estimation of the state's general revenues at SAR1,147,400,000,000, resulting in a deficit of SAR165,400,000,000.
The Crown Prince instructed ministers and officials to ensure the implementation of programs, strategies, and development and social projects outlined in the budget. These initiatives are aligned with the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030, emphasizing the prioritization of citizens' interests.
