Amman: A Cabinet session held Wednesday, headed by Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Khasawneh, decided to approve the mandating reasons for a draft amended bylaw for the administrative structure of the Jordan Maritime Commission (JMC) for the year 2024. The Cabinet also referred the new system to the Bureau of Legislation and Opinion to proceed with the procedures for issuing it, in accordance with regulations in force. The bylaw was okayed based on the recommendation of the Steering Committee to supervise implementation of the human resources axis of the Kingdom's public sector modernization road map. On its goals, the system aims to create new JMC's administrative units and upgrade existing structure to ensure the commission's "smooth" workflow, raise performance level, and carry out the required tasks.
