The Cabinet approved during its weekly on Wednesday a draft decree allowing the issuance of 1,500 obsolete fifty-pound silver coins depicting the restoration of the Avenue of Sphinxes commonly, known as El Kebbash Road in Luxor.
The decree also requires the State’s public treasury to mint a new one-pound coin to be in circulation, commemorating the inauguration of El Kebbash after restoration.
