Riyadh: The Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) Saudi Arabia, in partnership with King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and other entities, organized an event marking the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. The event brought together female students, researchers, and professionals from various scientific fields to discuss ways to enhance women's participation in science.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the program focused on aligning efforts across education, workforce development, and policymaking. It aimed to strengthen women's participation and leadership in scientific disciplines.
The event concluded with presentations highlighting success stories of Saudi women in scientific research, entrepreneurship, and national science programs. These examples showcased diverse career pathways and encouraged the next generation to pursue scientific fields.
