Qassim region: Qassim Region is witnessing significant economic momentum in conjunction with the Buraidah Dates Carnival. Organized by the National Center for Palms and Dates and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, and supervised by Qassim Principality, the event is being held at Buraidah Dates City.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the carnival reflects the ongoing support of the Kingdom's leadership for the agricultural sector in general, and for palm cultivation in particular. Buraidah has emerged as the largest date-producing city, contributing approximately 50% of the Kingdom's total production of 1.6 million tons.

Dates are the core focus of the carnival, with the sector receiving the greatest attention, particularly through the expansion of high-quality, high-yield date varieties, encouragement of farmers to cultivate diverse types, and the improvement of modern irrigation systems.
