Hadhramaut: The General Directorate of Border Guards, in cooperation with Aseer branch of the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification, participated in World Wetlands Day activities, observed annually on February 2, by planting mangrove seedlings in Al-Barak Governorate in Aseer Region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the participation comes as part of the Border Guards' voluntary efforts to promote environmental sustainability, conserve natural resources, and raise awareness of the importance of protecting coastal ecosystems and their role in maintaining ecological balance.
