Border Guard Holds Awareness Events for World Drowning Prevention Day

Riyadh: The General Directorate of Border Guard is set to hold awareness events tomorrow in various regions across the Kingdom in observance of World Drowning Prevention Day, which is observed annually on July 25. These events are organized with the primary aim of raising awareness about the risks associated with drowning and the methods available for prevention.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the planned activities will include training workshops focused on swimming and rescue skills, alongside awareness exhibitions. Additionally, there will be safety guidance sessions for those engaging in swimming and marine activities. The events will also provide important information on the necessity of supervising children and adhering to safety instructions. These initiatives are part of a broader effort to reduce drowning incidents and enhance safety within the community.
