Bedouin Tent Stands Out as Cultural Highlight of Al-Jouf Winter Festival


Al-jouf: The Bedouin tent at the Al-Jouf Winter Festival, organized by Suwair Municipality, serves as the first stop for visitors, where dates and Saudi coffee are offered as a gesture of traditional hospitality.



According to Saudi Press Agency, spanning over 300 square meters, the tent hosts a wide range of folk arts activities, including poetry recitations, the traditional Saudi Ardah and Samri dances, and musical evenings featuring talented performers.



The tent is one of the festival’s main attractions, representing Al-Jouf’s rich cultural heritage and its tradition of hospitality.



The five-day festival, which concludes today, drew numerous visitors from both within and outside the region. It carries substantial economic and cultural significance for Suwair Governorate. It is part of a series of annual local festivals in Al-Jouf that celebrate the region’s agricultural heritage while highlighting its economic importance and cultural significance.
