Authority for the Care of People with Disabilities and King Salman Park Foundation Collaborate to Enhance Accessibility

Riyadh: The Authority for the Care of People with Disabilities (APD) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the King Salman Park Foundation. This partnership aims to enhance the experience of individuals with disabilities and promote their integration, focusing on inclusion, accessibility, and available services.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the MoU emphasizes ensuring that people with disabilities have access to all park facilities by fostering supportive environments. It aims to share experiences and knowledge, enhance services for visitors with disabilities, and increase community awareness about their rights. Furthermore, the agreement includes cooperation in data sharing and the development of joint strategies for both current and future initiatives.

The authority collaborates with various sectors to support individuals with disabilities and has established agreements with organizations to improve accessibility. This initiative aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to create an inclusive society with equal opportunities for all.
