Riyadh: Deputy Minister of the Federal Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Austria, Andreas Reichhardt, along with his delegation, visited the Institute of Public Administration in Riyadh during an official visit to the Kingdom. The visit focused on exploring potential areas of cooperation between the Institute of Public Administration and Austrian counterparts.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions centered around institutional cooperation in areas such as administrative development, digital transformation, capacity building, and public policy expertise exchange. The dialogue also included examining modern government administration models to improve institutional performance and efficiency.
The delegation reviewed Austria's 'Best Practices Austria' initiative, which is spearheaded by the Federal Ministry of Finance in collaboration with other government entities. This initiative aims to gather and disseminate successful governmental practices to enhance institutional performance and government work efficiency.
Further discussions touched upon strengthening collaboration in digital transformation, e-government, education, vocational training, innovation, scientific research, and technology transfer. These efforts align with sustainable development goals and modern trends.
Both sides highlighted the importance of expanding international partnerships and leveraging global experiences to develop government systems and build leadership and administrative capacities. Such cooperation supports comprehensive government capability development and aids economic, financial, and institutional transformation, benefiting both Saudi and Austrian interests.
