Riyadh: Attorney General Sheikh Saud Al-Mujib hosted Prosecutor General of Georgia Giorgi Gvarakidze and his delegation at the Public Prosecution headquarters today. The meeting culminated in the signing of a memorandum of cooperation aimed at strengthening judicial and legal efforts between the two nations.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the memorandum focuses on combating original crime, terrorism, and its financing, as well as anti-money laundering measures. It also includes provisions for the exchange of information and expertise regarding the legal systems of both countries. Furthermore, the agreement facilitates joint research studies and training programs to enhance mutual understanding and collaboration.
During the visit, the Public Prosecution showcased its advanced institutional experience through a detailed presentation. The presentation highlighted the development of criminal procedures and digital transformation in prosecutorial services. Additionally, it emphasized ongoing efforts to improve efficiency and quality in prosecutorial work, underscoring the Kingdom's commitment to safeguarding rights and upholding legal guarantees.
