Assistant Speaker of Shura Council Highlights Role of Vision 2030 in Empowering Women, Youth

Riyadh: Assistant Speaker of the Shura Council Dr. Hanan Al-Ahmadi participated in the Fortune Most Powerful Women International Summit, organized by the international edition of Fortune magazine. She described Saudi Arabia as undergoing an unprecedented transformation across economic, social, cultural, and technological sectors since the launch of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in her speech, Al-Ahmadi noted that Vision 2030 has brought about a fundamental shift in leadership styles, particularly within the public sector. Leaders have become more engaged, embracing a culture of transparency and accountability, and placing greater emphasis on delivering tangible results that serve the interests of beneficiaries.

She emphasized that the Shura Council plays a crucial role in supporting the national development process, highlighting the council's efforts to promote youth participation and increase the representation of women across various sectors. This aligns with the state's broader goal of expanding active community involvement.

She also highlighted that the Kingdom recognizes the vast productive and creative potential of its youth, noting that two-thirds of the population comprises young men and women. This awareness has led to the launch of numerous initiatives aimed at empowering them as they represent a significant percentage of leaders across various sectors.
