Kuwait City: Assistant Deputy Minister for Multilateral Affairs at the Saudi Ministry of Finance, Naif Alenzi, headed the Delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the 73rd Meeting of the Committee of Deputies of the GCC Ministries of Finance, which was held today, Wednesday, May 7, 2025, in Kuwait.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Deputies Committee meeting participants aimed to prepare for the 123rd Ministerial Meeting of the GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee, in addition to discussing the results of the 84th Meeting of the GCC Central Bank Governors' Committee. The agenda also covered meetings related to the Customs Union Authority, the Committee of Heads and Directors of Tax Administrations in the GCC, and the Gulf Common Market Committee, among other topics included within the Committee's framework.
The meeting concluded with recommendations for the GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee on these issues, which shall be discussed during the committee's 123rd Ministerial Meeting.
