Diriyah: Assistant Minister of Culture Rakan Altouq met today at the ministry's headquarters in Diriyah with British Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Stephen Charles Hitchen.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the assistant minister congratulated the British ambassador on his appointment, wishing him success in his duties. He highlighted long-standing bilateral ties and the consistent progress achieved across multiple sectors.
Discussions focused on the progress of cultural cooperation established by the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed in February 2022. The session underscored the successful partnership with British institutions under the Saudi-UK Strategic Partnership Council, noting its impact on key areas such as theater, visual arts, and library development.
